i feel the same way! when my husband gets home from work, he gets tired of hearing me talk about every lil thing the kids did all day lol and i find it hard to have and keep outside friendships, as i dont really belong to any play groups or anything like that.
you know its bad when u know all the words to the backyardigans lol

well i drive but it doesnt really matter because we only have 1 vehicle and my husband takes it to work everyday unless i have an appt or something, then ill drop him off. but whats really funny is i like the younger age based cartoons rather than my older sons catoons. lol i like the educational dora, diego, blues clues things they hold my interest longer than say spongebob or something. i guess thats what they are intended to do for such young ages lol.

Yeah I feel the same way. Max and Ruby is a big must in my house. I find that kid's shows do take over the viewing time. lol

I know that feeling. I'm not a stay at home mom, but rather, a stay at home aunt- lol. I take care of my niece, and my household for my father because he works long hours. I work at home in the meantime. So, I certainly have the same responsibilities and lifestyle as a stay at home mom- I just don't actually have any children. My niece is my world, though. And yes- I do get bored of children's shows. I'm starting to hear Dora's voice in my sleep- AHHHH

I know the feeling. I work at home and then have to go to college full time. and at times I have night classes. then to come home and try to make sure my kids have done all their work and everything.
whew. that can be tiring!

Lol, I feel the same way. There are times when I almost feel numb to all the noise and same routine everyday and doesn't seem to bother me, but than I'll go through the times when omg, just feel like I gotta run away or just lock the door and take a nap. But, that just can't happen, lol. My husband just got a new job around christmas time so I feel like my days are even longer. He works from 8 in the morning and doesn't get home untill 8 at night so it is really starting to get to me now, lol. He is good though with taking over when he gets home and I take like a 30 minute nap or run to the store by myself but that doesn't last very long since it is already late and time for them to go to bed. So I still gotta take over after that. I think the thing that keeps me from almost going crazy is things like this, being able to talk to other mom's who feel like I do.

You know, I do some 'work' from home, and your right sometimes you need a break from just being home! Some people think it's easy to stay home, but really it's not. You stare at the same 4 walls day after day, doing the same thing everyday. I like when we get to get out and do something different for a change.

I do know the feeling. Lately I have been making an effort to get out a bit more. My kids are both in school, so I don't have their stuff on all day, but it can still be monotonous to be in the house doing whatever all day and never see a grown up. My new business is helping with the somewhat, but I crave social interaction as well. Now the PTA is starting to socialize a bit outside of meetings, so hopefully that will help...
